Loaded Baked Potato Salad

Jun 26

Summer is officially here!!! Are you already sick of the same boring lunch? Kick it up a notch by adding Loaded Baked Potato Salad into the mix!

Let’s face it, the same sandwich every day, even if you switch it up a bit can get a little mundane. As a Mom, I do my best to keep a variety of items handy for school lunches, picnics, pool days, and BBQ’s. One of my all time favorite sides is a good potato salad. With there being so many to choose from in the stores, I began to think of all the ways I could make my own and incorportate different items.

This potato salad pairs well with just about anything. It is so quick and spimple to make, and best of all, includes bacon!!! Your guests will be begging for the recipe!

Graveyard Brownies

Oct 19

Are you getting ready for Halloween? I have some amazing treats coming up on the blog over the next couple weeks to prepare you for the big night! But first, let’s get started with these delicious Halloween Graveyard Brownies!

Last week, I put this recipe together and it is absolutely perfect for a Halloween treat. The kids can even help you make it! These brownies were really the perfect batch. They came out so moist and chewy. Just the way I like them! I cut them into squares and frosted them with a milk chocolate whipped icing. I then crushed up some Oreos to simulate dirt and placed them on top.

Monster Ice Cream Cupcakes

Okay, so Fall is finally here and for me that means more than pumpkin spice everything. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s so close to my birthday or just because it’s so much fun. This year, my kids have chosen some pretty random costumes, but I’m totally okay with it. We’re all going to be dolls and  you’re going to have to stalk my Instagram account to see us on the big night because I don’t want to ruin the surprise.

It’s a little early for me to start posting Halloween related content, but I couldn’t help myself. So, I thought these colorful no-so-Halloween-ish Monster Ice Cream Cupcakes would be a great way to ease us into what will begin the start of our holi”daze”. Once we hit Halloween, the remainder of the year just flies on by.Continue Reading

Strawberry Banana Milkshake for Picky Eaters

Aug 28

I have been compensated by PediaSure for this post; however, I am sharing my own thoughts. All opinions are my own.

Strawberry-Banana-Shake-for-Picky-Eaters-01Now that we are back in our school routine, I am finding it a bit difficult getting my little one to eat at home after school. I’m not sure if he is either still full from lunch or maybe tired, but I am always on top of my kids’ nutrition and the things they are eating. Over the summer, he had a pretty good appetite and ate virtually anything we put in front of him. However, changes, such as school, routine, and of course age can alter a child’s eating habits. The same can be said for adults too, sometimes we neglect what we eat because we are so focused on something else. To help our children we have to show them that we are taking care of our bodies as well, this includes using supplements from companies like Nucific that we can take daily. It may be wise to see if there are any supplements for your children at the same time, but it is best to check with a doctor first. Continue Reading
