Floating Heart Mobile

Wow! It feels so good to finally get things going on the blog again. I had a freak accident that took me off of my feet for over six weeks, but with the help of my hubby and amazing friends, I am well on my way to getting back to my old self. Being stuck on the couch for over 6 weeks was a long road, but I am so happy to finally be walking again and getting back to our routine. However, with my time off, I was able to do a bit of planning for some new designs and create some pretty nifty holiday crafts. I’ve planned my valentine’s crafts, mother’s day creations and even some Easter embroidery designs so keep your eyes peeled for new crafts coming soon!

The Holiday’s came and went in the blink of an eye and I felt terrible that I wasn’t able to post anything for you all during that time. So as soon as I felt the least bit up to par, I started planning for Valentine’s Day. I finally had a chance to go out on my own the other night and I can’t even explain the feeling I felt when I walked into the craft store. It was a bit overwhelming and so many ideas came to mind. I literally wanted to buy the whole store.Continue Reading

Bath Time Caddy for Baby

This post is brought to you by Boudreaux’s Butt Paste and The Motherhood. However, all opinions are my own.

bath-time-caddy-01Our week days have been pretty hectic lately. Bunbun’s homework load has increased slightly, which means less time spent doing the things we need to do. I wish I was one of those moms that could get everything done with minimal time, but I guess my time management skills aren’t as great as they once were. But let’s face it, being a Mom is a lot of work!Continue Reading

Monster Ice Cream Cupcakes

This post is sponsored by Post Consumer Brands but the content and opinions expressed here are my own. THE FLINTSTONES and all related characters and elements © & ™ Hanna-Barbera. (s16).

Okay, so Fall is finally here and for me that means more than pumpkin spice everything. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s so close to my birthday or just because it’s so much fun. This year, my kids have chosen some pretty random costumes, but I’m totally okay with it. We’re all going to be dolls and  you’re going to have to stalk my Instagram account to see us on the big night because I don’t want to ruin the surprise.

It’s a little early for me to start posting Halloween related content, but I couldn’t help myself. So, I thought these colorful no-so-Halloween-ish Monster Ice Cream Cupcakes would be a great way to ease us into what will begin the start of our holi”daze”. Once we hit Halloween, the remainder of the year just flies on by.Continue Reading

Ever Wonder How Your Kids View You? + $25 Gift Card Giveaway

This post is brought to you by Office Depot® OfficeMax® and The Motherhood. However, all opinions are my own.

ever-wonder-how-your-kids-view-you-01Parenting is no joke! I mean, let’s face it…It’s tough work. It’s constant, never-ending work. People often ask me what I do all day since I’m a stay at home mom. That question is usually pretty insulting to me because I think most people have the perception that I sit on the couch and eat ice cream all day. In reality, that is far from the case and truthfully, I’d really like to answer their question with the myriad of things I do day in and day out. Listen, just because I don’t work a 9 to 5, doesn’t mean I sit around all day.Continue Reading

Strawberry Banana Milkshake for Picky Eaters

I have been compensated by PediaSure for this post; however, I am sharing my own thoughts. All opinions are my own.

Strawberry-Banana-Shake-for-Picky-Eaters-01Now that we are back in our school routine, I am finding it a bit difficult getting my little one to eat at home after school. I’m not sure if he is either still full from lunch or maybe tired, but I am always on top of my kids’ nutrition and the things they are eating. Over the summer, he had a pretty good appetite and ate virtually anything we put in front of him. However, changes, such as school, routine, and of course age can alter a child’s eating habits. The same can be said for adults too, sometimes we neglect what we eat because we are so focused on something else. To help our children we have to show them that we are taking care of our bodies as well, this includes using supplements from companies like Nucific that we can take daily. It may be wise to see if there are any supplements for your children at the same time, but it is best to check with a doctor first. Continue Reading

Family Fun at Dolphin Mall Miami

I have been compensated in the form of a Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free in exchange for an honest review of Dolphin Mall.

Dolphin-Mall-08Is a couple more weeks too much to ask for? I feel like we need a vacation from our summer vacation! There’s been a whole lot of relaxing going on in the past few weeks, but that’s totally a good thing. It was much needed. Sometimes, we all just need a little time to decompress and wind down. I’ve even been looking into starting yoga, it was recommended to me by a friend who recently got her yoga online teacher training certification. She said that it has helped her during stressful times, so maybe I’ll get the family in on that too. Often times, I feel like there’s not much to do locally. And anything that is here, we have done on several occasions so it’s basically played out for us. Continue Reading
