LEGOLAND. It’s what kid dreams are made of! As far back as I can remember, LEGO bricks were the cool toy to have. I had a few sets growing up, but they were nothing quite intricate and elaborate like the ones my little ones (and maybe myself) have now. Each birthday or holiday, you can bet that there’s a new set on their list. As parents, we absolutely love LEGO sets because it allows our children to think, be imaginative and constructive.Continue Reading

Sure, you’re probably thinking, “This woman is nuts!”, but am I really? You see, I’ve had pets all my life. I’ve learnt how to feed older dogs, and how to care for puppies. I’ve also loved them all and experienced the pain when their time was up. I’ve had some pretty amazing dogs (and cats) in my lifetime. Do I miss them? Absolutely! Do I miss one the most? You betcha!Continue Reading

Gearing up for school every morning can be quite the challenge in our home. My children are so much like me when it comes to getting good sleep. We basically can never get enough go it! So, when it comes to mornings, they’re usually pretty slow to get out of bed. Over time, I have found tips and tricks to get them up a bit faster. Offering breakfast seems to work because they are at the table faster before I am even done picking out their school clothes.00″ height=”1079″ />
