Get going in the morning with Plentí Oatmeal!

Jan 21

https://ooh.li/9cd1170
Most days of the week, getting up is a struggle for me. I’ve never really been a morning person and now that i have a child in school, I don’t have much of a choice. Next year, I’ll have two children in two different schools. Wish me luck!

Jan 21

This is a sponsored post on behalf of The Motherhood and Naturally Fresh®. All opinions are my own.

Okay. I think it’s time to confess…Our Sunday Football get-togethers aren’t for just the game anymore. While I love watching football, It’s definitely all about the food! I love having friends over just as much as I love being in the kitchen. So, if there’s a game on, come to our house! And while you’re here, enjoy the food. ALL of it!

Earn Money For Your Child’s School with eBoxTops at Winn-Dixie and $15 Pay Pal Giveaway

Jan 20

https://ooh.li/bb13709

Being a stay-at-home mom is no easy feat. But try being a stay-at-mom and VP of Fundraising at your child’s school. Talk about exhausting!!! I love being there and helping out. The kids are genuinely happy to see me in the hallways and I get lots of snuggles and hugs. The hardest part, however, is finding ways to earn money for the school. Over the years, I think parents have become sick of all those catalog sales and are looking for new ways to contribute to their child’s school. We’ve had a few different ideas to try and raise money, with some suggesting looking into online investments like BTC Profit to help with the financials. Another one of those ideas was a casino event for the parents and teachers of the school. Normally, casino evenings seem to draw a lot of people out of their homes, so that is something that we are considering. If we did go ahead with it, we’d recommend that parents and teachers got some practice in by using an online casino (find the best ones at https://www.best-casino.net/). Casinos normally allow people to make a lot of money, so all of those winnings could go towards the school if we held an event like that. For now, we’re looking into easier methods though.

Nachos. Mmmm! One of my guilty pleasures and game day must haves. We hosted a few games at our house this year and everyone always raves about my Chili Cheese Nachos. Usually, by the time I get to them they’re almost gone though. That’s how good they are! In as little as 30 minutes, you can have some pretty amazing nachos to serve at your next game day or better yet, Super Bowl! So, with the big game almost here, get ready to indulge in some pretty great recipes from yours truly. Continue Reading

Valentines Day Chocolate Covered Oreo Pops

Jan 13

Happy New Year! I know I have been a little disconnected lately, but I promise it’s been all for good reasons. I spent some much needed time with my family over Bunbun’s “winter” break. Although there is no such thing as winter here in South Florida.

Chocolate Dipped Halloween Pretzels

Oct 26

Wow! I can’t believe we are less than a week away from Halloween already! Bunbun has decided to be Frankenstein this year. I’m not quite sure where this idea came from, but I find it cute. I found a minion costume which was much better than the usual ones so I was trying to convince her to wear it. She decided on Frankenstein in the end though! Her class did an activity for Halloween called, “Guess Who I am?”. The kids drew a self portrait of themselves and described what their favorite things are from Halloween. Such as favorite activity, candy and/or treat. Then they write what they will be for Halloween and the others guess who is who. Bunbun’s was a dead giveaway for me when I noticed it on the bulletin board. Her self portrait was a girl with pigtails, colored green, with stitches on her face. I knew it was Frankenstein!!! Or as she labeled it; “Franken Girl”.

#BrewYourBreakfast With Nature Valley’s Bistro Cups Oatmeal and PayPal Cash Giveaway

Sep 24

Confession: I havent used my k-cup brewing machine in over six months! The cups started getting expensive and I no longer had interest. However, I recently learned that Nature Valley had a new product to make breakfast quick when you’re in a pinch. So I ran over to my nearest Publix and purchased a box in each flavor; Apple Cinnamon Almond and Brown Sugar Pecan.

Disney’s Descendants: Mal’s Evil Apples

Aug 16

We finally had a chance this weekend to sit down and watch Disney’s Descendants. What a cute movie for all to enjoy!

In Disney’s Descendants, Beast (from Beauty and the Beast) is married to the lovely Belle and they rule the United States of Auradon, which is the United Nation and homeland to all the Heroes and Villains of Disney. All of the villains from the movies are imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost with a magical spell that has been keeping them trapped there. That is…until the villains have children of their own…

It’s Tender Time! A PDQ Review

Aug 16

This post has been sponsored by PDQ, all opinions and views are my own.

Recently, on my way home, I noticed a new building going up and wondered what they could possibly be building. I assumed it would be a bank, but when the sign went up my taste buds started doing a little dance. “PDQ Coming Soon!” After hearing from many of my friends about how great this place had been, I had to check it out for myself, as soon as possible.

PDQ is a ‘fast-casual’ style restaurant chain who is really making itself known in the South Florida area. This location in particular is a stand-alone building, built from the ground up and boasts a large parking lot with plenty of space. Being that it is near a mall and in a very busy Target plaza, it was very easy to find a spot, without having to stalk someone walking out to their car.

Blueberry Cobbler

Aug 06

Blueberries are quite popular in our home. The kids, especially my little guy, love to put them in their cereal and sometimes, he will request them alone for a snack. It’s the cutest thing! Then again, I think everything he does is cute. Probably because I’m his Mom.

We enjoy shopping at local farmers markets. The atmosphere is so lovely and it seems to encourage my littles to eat healthier. The kids love picking their own fruits and veggies which probably works in my favor as well, because if they picked it, most likely…they’ll eat it! Whenever there is a sale on Blueberries, we tend to stock up. However, after our last trip, I think I may have bought too many blueberries.
