Easy Easter Bark + PEEPS® Giveaway

The PEEPS® and PEEPS & COMPANY® products, information, and additional gift pack have been provided by PEEPS® and PEEPS & COMPANY®.

And just like that, Spring is in the air. Where does the time go? I feel like the year just started and here I am taking the kids to Easter egg hunts, dyeing eggs, making Easter bark and stuffing Easter baskets! We recently visited a local park with friends and had a great time! The kids hunted for eggs, dyed eggs in shaving cream and a new one for me; rice! I really love the effect of that technique and look forward to using it again sometime with my little ones.

PEEPS® Rice Krispies Treats Pops + Easter Printable

These PEEPS® Rice Krispies Treats Pops are a fun and easy Easter treat for everyone to share!

We love Rice Krispies Treats and actually purchase them in bulk (don’t judge me). The kids love them and to be quite honest, if you look at the ingredients; they aren’t all that bad. I wanted to make something fun for the kids this Easter and thought, what better way than to pair my favorite PEEPS®  with my Rice Krispies Treats! You like that rhyming technique? Skills.

Halloween Trick or Treat Printables

Every year on Halloween, we have a small block party and take to the neighborhood for our annual Trick or Treating. Since the whole family goes, we are never home to distribute any candy, but we always leave a big bowl and put the honor system in place. Yes!!! It’s that time of year again. The weather is changing and the leaves are falling. Neighbors are taking out their Halloween decorations from jack-o-lanterns to skeletons and even spooky messages on signs from www.neonfilter.com. Everyone is getting out there and sprucing up the neighborhood in preparation of the big night.
As a child, my favorite holiday was Halloween. I was ‘almost’ a Halloween baby, so my Birthday and Halloween are within a few short days of each other. I absolutely love decorating and sharing in on the Halloween fun with the neighborhood children and of course my own.

When we purchased our first home back in 2012 the tradition of BOO’ing had just begun in the neighborhood. To join in the spooky spirit of giving, we made a BOO kit full of candy and goodies to bring to our neighbor’s house. We left it at the doorstep along with a card explaining what it meant to be Boo’d and an extra to encourage them to continue the cycle of “boo’ing.” They were then left guessing who left the tub of treats and something good to eat. While our identity remained a secret, it was up to them to pay it forward and create their own BOO kit for for an unsuspecting neighbor or friend.

Disney’s Descendants: Mal’s Evil Apples

We finally had a chance this weekend to sit down and watch Disney’s Descendants. What a cute movie for all to enjoy!

In Disney’s Descendants, Beast (from Beauty and the Beast) is married to the lovely Belle and they rule the United States of Auradon, which is the United Nation and homeland to all the Heroes and Villains of Disney. All of the villains from the movies are imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost with a magical spell that has been keeping them trapped there. That is…until the villains have children of their own…
