Need to get dinner on the table ASAP? The new Breville Combi Wave 3-in-1 Microwave is just what you need to make cooking a breeze!
I can’t get enough of Oreos!!! They are definitely one of my weaknesses when it comes to sweets and I don’t have the willpower to say no to all of their deliciousness. Last month, I posted a recipe for Cookies & Cream Cupcakes which received quite a response. So, I am back this month with a new recipe for you to enjoy.
I’m here to confess my love for cookies and cream; It’s kind of an obsession…
Cookies and cream ice cream, Hershey’s bars, milkshakes, cheesecake, you name it; I’ve tried it. Oh, yeah! Fried Oreos. Goodness, I love those too!
But let’s talk cupcakes. It’s no secret that I love cupcakes too. They are so much fun to bake, frost and decorate. The possibilities seem to be endless! I had been thinking of these for a few weeks now and finally found the time to give them a go.
Can I just tell you how yummy they are? They have an Oreo at the bottom, Oreos in the batter and are topped with a yummy cream cheese frosting and of course, Oreo cookie crumbs. The best!!!
It’s a cookie overload and you have to make these!
Every year, a few days before July 4th, the neighbors line their front yards with American Flags. We invite friends over, cook out back, the kids swim in the pool and we light and watch the fireworks above. It’s always a great day! And for me, a beautiful reminder of my Grandfather. He passed on when I was a little girl, but I will never forget how much he loved this country and July 4th was his favorite holiday. I think Christmas was a close second though…
I’ll always remember the block parties, the sound of country music, the taste of the iced tea and the delightful smell of fresh baked apple pie. Oh gosh, those days were the best! Especially when they were spent on the lake with the boats, jetski’s and fishing poles. The days were warm and the nights were long. Those were some of the best days of my childhood.
My obsession with cannoli filling is something fierce! We can’t even go to an Italian restaurant without ordering them. And for some reason, I think the kids may actually love them more than us. Sure, Publix sells them pre-made. It’s just not the same! It took years for me to finally find a place that makes them the way I remember them tasting as a child. Oh Gosh! Just thinking about them makes me salivate. I literally licked the bowl on this one…
Do you ever have such a crazy day ahead of you, that you absolutely know there is no time for dinner? Yep! That’s me….a lot of the time! Usually, we head straight for a pizza, quick sandwich or even breakfast for dinner. My crock-pot pretty much sits quietly on a shelf in my pantry, but I had to pull that bad boy out for an emergency this weekend.
My kids are somewhat picky eaters and have a limited menu of what they will eat and actually enjoy. They both love taco night and can pretty much eat chicken any day of the week. So I thought, why not combine the two?
Our good friends decided to take their summer vacation close to home this year. They packed the car up yesterday, left me with their dog and took off to Key West. All of a sudden, I found myself craving Key Lime Pie! So I decided to whip up a batch of these Mini Key Lime Cheesecakes; in their honor of course.
These sweet treats are the perfect blend of sweet and sour.
If you love Key Lime pie, you are sure to love these!!!
