Strawberry Lemonade Popsicles

Jun 17

Now that summer is here, we need to beat the Florida heat and stay cool and refreshed. So this week, I broke out the popsicle molds! Of course the kids were excited and totally watching the clock, waiting for their chance at one of my strawberry lemonade popsicles.

We used to buy store-bought popsicles, but the amount of sugar, high-fructose corn syrup and dyes really bothered us. We do our best to only eat organics and shop exclusively at Whole Foods. Don’t get me wrong, there are many conventional items we still purchase from time to time, but mostly everything in our home is Organic and GMO Free. Just like these popsicles!

What is your favorite popsicle flavor or blend?

Strawberry Lemonade Popsicles

Ingredients
  •     1 cup of sliced strawberries
  •     1 cup of lemonade

Directions
  1. Place sliced strawberries into your 4 molds.
  2. Carefully pour lemonade over the strawberries, filling to the top of the mold.
  3. Press your sticks into the mold and freeze 2-4 hours, until solid.
  4. Enjoy!

Tip: Run your molds under warm water for approx. 20-30 seconds to release your popsicles from the mold without any hassle.
