Baked Peanut Butter Banana Dog Treats + A Dog’s Purpose DVD Giveaway!

This post is sponsored by Universal Studios Home Entertainment. However, all opinions are my own. There are few things in life that are much better than a best friend. Sure, you’re probably thinking, “This woman is nuts!”, but am I really? You see, I’ve had pets all my life. I’ve learnt how to feed older dogs, and how to care for puppies. I’ve learned how to clean up after all kinds of dogs. (which by the way I’ve found the best roomba for pets can make cleaning up the dog fur so much easier if you’ve found this to be something you struggle with). I’ve also loved them all and experienced the pain when their time was up. I’ve had some pretty amazing dogs (and cats) in my lifetime. Do I miss them? Absolutely! Do I miss one the most? You betcha!Continue Reading

5 Summer Activities for You & Your Dog + $25 Pup-Peroni Giveaway

IMG_0086During the summer, it can be difficult to get out with our pets here. It’s so hot and humid that we tend to stay indoors most of the time unless we are in the pool. Keeping your dogs cool is so important. As they’re covered in a thick coat of fur, they usually feel the heat a lot more than we do. Whilst outdoors may be off-limits in the sun, there are things we can do inside that can keep our dogs cool. One of the best ways to keep your dog from overheating is by installing an air conditioning unit inside the house. No matter where you live, you should be able to get air conditioning installed. For example, those in Houston TX could always call out a company like Indoor Comfort Specialists. That should help the dog to stay indoors comfortably. The sun can be dangerous, so make sure your house is cool enough to keep the dog inside. Additionally, I’ve been told that using a cooling mat is a different way to keep your dog cool if you don’t have a pool so it’s worth checking that option. However, Sophie has so much energy that she needs to spend or else she goes nuts in the house. We try to keep her as active as possible while keeping her cool at the same time.Continue Reading

Treat your Pup to Dinner with Natural Balance Natural Balance Delectable Delights®

SophieWhen we decided to get a dog, we knew we wanted a Boxer. Our neighbors had a Boxer and he was amazing with our little guy when he was born. We would spend a lot of time at each others homes and Cooper would always come over to make sure he was alright whenever he cried. It was the sweetest thing and I just knew this was the breed for us. We were a little worried before we decided to get our little guy. We had a friend who also had a boxer, but her dog sadly passed away from cancer. When we decided to bring our dog home, she suggested that we look into cbd for dog cancer just in case it happened to us. I’ve decided to put it on the back burner just in case, but for now, we just want to enjoy our new puppy. Continue Reading
