It’s almost that time of year! I’ve literally been counting down the days and stocking up on all things pumpkin. The summer was so brutal this year and I am ready for even the slightest of change!
I can’t believe Bunbun has been back to school for almost a month already! When I wrote my last post, we were getting ready for the start of school and totally binging on our Netflix. Lately, we haven’t been watching as much as a family due to school days and of course, homework. However, my little guy has been using his alone time very wisely, with some fresh picks for the month of September.
In Disney’s Descendants, Beast (from Beauty and the Beast) is married to the lovely Belle and they rule the United States of Auradon, which is the United Nation and homeland to all the Heroes and Villains of Disney. All of the villains from the movies are imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost with a magical spell that has been keeping them trapped there. That is…until the villains have children of their own…
As summer vacation comes to an end, my littles have been getting in as much Netflix time as possible. And being a mom who is very in tune with what my children watch, I love the kids only profile. It is amazing how it filters out all of the adult movies and shows that they have no business getting into.
Since it’s been quite rainy in the afternoons here in South Florida, we’ve been getting cozy on the couch and catching up on a little relaxation.
Here are my kids picks for the month of August!
Summer has been quite the struggle (insert sigh). We ended up keeping Bunbun home and ditching the camp this year. It’s really been great having both kids home and spending time with them, but it’s been super difficult to keep her busy. My little guy is so easy going for being only three. He will find something to keep himself busy in any situation; Bunbun always wants something to do. A craft, a game, a movie, swimming…something! She just has to be busy. She loves to collect things and is currently into the Shopkins craze, which is probably going to make me broke very soon.
Happy Popsicle Week!!! I am super late with this post but we have been enjoying my grandmother visiting us. We wrapped up an amazing Birthday week for Bunbun, filled with lots of fun in the sun and swimming in the pool.
One of the ways we keep cool on our hot summer days here in South Florida is by eating watermelon. It’s a cool snack, packed with water to keep us hydrated and the kids love it!
Assemble the Minions!!! They’re coming and we can’t wait any longer!
Stay away from the beaches! Shark Week is back with a vengeance all this week for it’s 28th year!
Jaw dropping encounters and cringe-worthy attacks will keep us glued to the couch for a good part of the week, but we can only eat so many goldfish…
Sink your teeth into this tasty Shark Infested Jello snack and check out Shark Week on Discovery!
My obsession with cannoli filling is something fierce! We can’t even go to an Italian restaurant without ordering them. And for some reason, I think the kids may actually love them more than us. Sure, Publix sells them pre-made. It’s just not the same! It took years for me to finally find a place that makes them the way I remember them tasting as a child. Oh Gosh! Just thinking about them makes me salivate. I literally licked the bowl on this one…
